Arriving by car:

Please note that many satellite navigation devices send you the wrong way in St. Wolfgang (down a dirt track unsuitable for vehicles, instead of through the tunnel)! Please follow the directions below:

• Travelling by motorway from the direction of Vienna, take the Regau or Mondsee exit
• Travelling by motorway from the direction of Munich/Salzburg, take the Thalgau or Mondsee-Wolfgangsee

Take the B158 to Strobl, then branch off on the L546 in the direction of St. Wolfgang.

In St. Wolfgang, go through the bypass tunnel and follow the road in the direction of the Schafbergbahn (Schafberg railway). Follow the road along the lake (Robert Stolz Strasse) for another 900 m and you will see the hotel.

ATTENTION: Many navigation systems will take you the wrong way: DO NOT turn off to the right before the tunnel at the tourist information office! You will end up on a narrow dirt track which is unsuitable for vehicles. Follow the main road along the lake (Robert Stolz Strasse) to the Schafbergbahn and continue for a further 1000m without turning off.

Arriving by bus:

Bus no. 150 runs between Salzburg main railway station and Bad Ischl railway station every hour.

Change in Strobl to the 546 to St. Wolfgang. Get off in St. Wolfgang after the Schafbergbahn stop (sometimes this will be the terminus) and walk along the road by the lake.

If the bus turns in to the terminus after the Schafbergbahn stop (depending on the timetable), you will have to get off and walk another 800m along the road to our hotel.

If, however, the bus continues into Ried, get off at the next stop (Ried/Raudaschl). You will find us 300m along the road from here.
